Global Investors Bet on Graymatter
I went full time on Graymatter in February 2024.
Four months before that, I had emergency open-heart surgery to save my life.
It’s not an exaggeration, I really shouldn’t be here.
I don’t dwell on it, but it’s an important part of this story. Because Graymatter wouldn’t exist without it happening.
That experience forced me to ask:
👉 If I were gone, would I have been satisfied with my life?
The answer was no.
The entire experience gave me a feeling that I had to do something bigger.
Going back to “normal” didn’t feel right..
And ironically, as this was all happening…
a side project called Graymatter started demanding more attention.
As I was recovering, we kept getting reviews of people saying astonishing things like,
“Thank you for giving me my life back”
It became obvious, this is what I’m supposed to do with my second chance.
So, I quit my job and went all in.
To be clear, the business wasn’t ready for me to do that.
We did just $6,152 in revenue of February ‘24.
I decided fu#k it, I’ll just fund it off my savings. I’m not going to take this $ with me when I die.
The next year was the hardest I’ve ever worked and the most rewarding.
By the end of the year, my savings were running out. We weren’t profitable yet, and I started to wonder if I’d made the right decision.
Then everything changed.
A full rebrand.
Upfront investment in new content.
One killer ad that hit.
And suddenly - growth exploded.
Since last November, we’ve been growing 20–30% month over month.
Thousands of reviews now pour in from customers saying Bright Mind is changing their lives.
It’s surreal.
I’m deeply grateful to be able to help people like this.
And now, we have the opportunity to go even bigger.
More people are realizing that the quality of your mind determines the quality of your life.
The mental health stigma is fading.
Meditation is mainstream.
And people are discovering that you can supplement your mind.
Yet, millions still don’t know this is possible and we need to reach them faster.
